We invite abstracts of proffered papers on the experimental
biology, etiology, prevention, diagnosis, and therapy of
breast cancer and premalignant breast disease.
Abstracts of superior quality will
be selected by the Symposium for presentation
at the 2017 San Antonio Breast Cancer
Symposium and published in February 2018 as a special online citable supplement to the AACR journal Cancer Research.
Abstracts, with the exception of those withheld for SABCS press conferences, will be released one month prior to the symposium. The abstracts withheld for press will be released at the beginning of the day on which the relevant press conference occurs. Slide presentations
and posters will be available for
viewing online during the Symposium at the SABCS website. Abstracts may be submitted electronically.
The scientific program consists of plenary lectures and mini-symposia by experts in clinical and basic research; selected slide and poster presentations chosen from the submitted abstracts; educational sessions, award lectures, panel and case discussions and forums. General sessions are approximately 2 hours in duration and are the vehicle for slide presentations, which are allotted 10 minutes each followed by 5 minutes of discussion. Poster sessions are 1 1/2 to 2 hours long. Specific instructions for the preparation of slides and posters along with a draft copy of the program will be emailed to each presenter. They will also be available for viewing online at the SABCS website.
Please
make sure you read "Abstract Presenter Responsibilities" before your
submission.
